As an analytical problem solver- you can drive focus and lead change between Supply Chain & Sales. As the Customer Logistics Manager North Africa- you will report to the Head of S&OP & Logistics and work closely with various teams. Your primary focus will be to develop strategic partnerships with customers & distributors- building a proven foundation to support the commercial and operations functions.

In brief- you will:

  • Scope Local Market Egypt + North Africa Export Customers.
  • Provide direction to deliver high levels of service to the customer - complete order- timely delivery- free of damage- accurate data- accurate transactions- truck utilization & cost efficiency.
  • Ensure strict replenishment & allocation processes across channels align with forecast accuracy & inventory levels- based solely on In-Market Sales and using technology- agile planning & teamwork.
  • Be the internal “voice of the customer-” promoting a customer-centric culture.
  • Own the accuracy and timeliness of all data from customers & distributors (sales data- point of sale- inventory- vehicles- POS material- sales performance- targets & people)
  • Lead the team’s activities to maintain seamless communication with the customer- commercial- and internal Supply Chain functions.
  • Lead identification and prioritization of valuable activities that contribute to the growth and cost-effectiveness of the business.
  • Develop the skills and knowledge of the team to ensure fully coordinated- differentiated service excellence is delivered internally and externally.
  • Responsible for periodical audits on customer compliance to KHC standards of quality- safety & reliability.
  • Develop future supply chain leaders through career path planning and execution.
  • Develop talents at the distributors & key customers to ensure “best in class” execution and operations.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree and post-graduate qualification with a focus on Supply Chain- Logistics- or Commerce
  • Validated experience related to Supply Chain (O2C- Logistics- Customer Service- Demand Planning- Sales with Distributor model)
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; the ability to deliver a consistent message from analyst level to c-suit management.
  • Experience in streamlining communication across all collaborators.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite & handling big data is important (mainly Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in English is a requirement.
