The Checks Clearing & Collection Associate is an entry level role responsible for processing basic to relatively complex transfers in coordination with the Transaction Services team. The overall objective is to perform moderately complex cash & trade operation tasks, by providing processing assistance for assigned projects.
Job Purpose:
- Manages the check processing functions
- Supervises check processing Authorizers

Monitors unit reviews and insure no discrepancies- Supporting daily functions of Cash management ops unit.
- Ensures reconciliations and reporting functions are completed
- Ensuring Compliance with Bank policy and regulations.
- Ensuring financial obligations are met in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Key contributor in the development of the day to day operations programs.
- Manages processing & related objectives for the unit according to predetermined standards to meet the needs of the serviced business.
- Keep continues interface with the treasury & other operation areas of the branch to ensure support to their business plan.
- Manages processing resources & comprehend, utilize &/or enhance system designed to maximize quality & quantity of service while reducing costs.
- Assists in developing programs & related reports to insure compliance with internal audit program & external regulatory changes as assigned.
- May analyze new or modified product opportunities.
- Recommend variances & assist in designing related services & system innovations.
- Assist in improving the process in the Checks clearing & Collection unit.

Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated basic experience in cash management processing and transaction services
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and data entry skills
Education:
- University degree.
