To plan and implement local sales promotion in consultation with Category Management team.
Negotiate contracts, promo plans and innovations
Oversee the forecasting process of each assigned customer to ensure optimum stock level.
Collaborate very closely with teams from other departments
Resolve any issues and problems of your clients and act as a link between your customer and the internal teams
Store visits, fieldwork with Sales Executives, Supervisors and ASMs regularly
Prepare Customer’s business summary on regular basis and share with respective Executives and Supervisors to keep them updated on the Customer’s business results and opportunities
Strongly conduct weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly and annual reviews with sales team apart from adhoc reviews with the team
Develop and conduct ideas, plans and activities that will help grow the business with existing and new customers
Oversee the process of collection of trade receivables to achieve targeted credit terms. Ensure all channel customers are making payments on time by closely tracking receivables data. Conduct periodic meeting with your team along with Finance team to reconcile and be updated on Customer Payments.
Provide the team with adequate training, coaching, and mentoring to develop their skills and ensure continuity and career path.
Market Share vs. competition: Gain share and reach a category leadership position with the chosen customers.
Analyze data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends
Devise long-term development strategies for Detergent and liquid categories
· Develop exit strategies for unsuccessful products
· Foster trust relationships with vendors to achieve better pricing and quality of services
· Looking at supply chain in order to ensure product availability that meets consumer demands.
· Participate in preparing forecasts for product demand to ensure the sustainability of inventory.
· Determine the positioning of a product category
· Head the marketing team to activate consumer promotions, internally liaise with Sales team to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities of the product category
· Collaborate with Modern Trade buyers and merchandisers to expand product categories
· Design and implement the consumer promotion calendar in both MT (Chain wise, month wise) and TT.
· Assume responsibility of budget development and revenue for category
· Implement Product Display Planogram in MT and TT
· Study sales data, internal as well as external and prepare action plans.
· Completes sales operational requirements by scheduling and looking critically at distribution routes and ensuring outlet reach through better and efficient distribution.
Channel management: Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, Horeca / Institutions and Wholesale.

Participate in the Business Plan process
Actively review the Tactical and strategic action plan with the sales team on a regular basis.

As a custodian of the category brands, ensure everyone follows brand key and maintains brand hygiene.
Product sample test by consumers to understand evolving preferences and feedback on product formulation and packaging
Regular checks on Product quality to be maintained as per standards
Analyze the market and pre-empt any business risk related to the category.
Product formulation and packaging: as per the brand key and positioning, device the product formulation and packaging. Liaise with Product development and production team
Prepare a Digital marketing strategy and implement the campaigns to drive the brand recognition and sales
Achievement of volume and value Business Plan numbers for the assigned category
Presenting in-depth Monthly Business Review to the Top Management
